Cursing, Beer and a Popped Chute As Flight Attendant Quits

A flight attendant cursed out passengers, grabbed a beer then triggered an emergency chute Monday at a Pearson International Airport terminal, authorities say.

Toronto Police Commissioner Jack Kelley said it “appears” Kate Warren was quitting.

Police arrested Warren for allegedly triggering the emergency escape chute, a spokeswoman for the district attorney said.

Warren was arrested at her home and charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and criminal trespass, said Helen Peterson at the Crown Attorney Office.
